Crusader Displays have announced the appointment of a new sales director to work alongside the existing management team at the company’s head quarters in Manchester. Peter Jamieson joins Crusader having originally worked for the company four years ago as sales manager and has been tasked with exploiting the huge sales potential for the company following the announcement last month of the merger between Crusader Displays Limited and Crusader Plastics.
One of Peter’s first tasks will be to employ a sales team and fine tune internal sales systems that can drive Crusader forward and satisfy the companies ever more ambitious growth aspirations.
Crusader, the shop and display equipment specialist who design and manufacture tailor made retail and point of sale units for leading UK and international companies has seen sales opportunities explode on the back of recent major contract wins and the launch of the company’s first ever branded display and storage solution aimed at pharmacists called Pharmashelve.
Crusader has an annual turnover in the region of £3.5M employ 60 staff and boasts a total of nearly 80 years design and manufacturing experience with an impressive list of national and international clients including household names such as Halfords, Boots and Specsavers.

Peters first objective is to promote our range of combined services to this new larger marketplace. Peter knows our company very well and has bags of experience communicating what we have to offer to new and existing customers so we are expecting a huge amount of interest over the next few months. With such a large market to go at, I know he’s going to be very busy for the foreseeable future”
Crusader is now looking further ahead with ambitious plans to target directly the UK’s top 200 retail companies with the complete product offering and more branded display and storage solutions are in the pipeline
