Manchester based Crusader are adding another innovative string to their bow as they have designed and produced a second interactive and original retail display unit on behalf of Halfords stores.
With a string of successful retail display and merchandising contracts under their belt, Crusader can add the Halfords Reverse Sensor Unit to their list of other iconic designs such as the Halfords Flash Unit and the Focus DIY Table Top Display Unit. Further details and photos of these units can be found at www.crusader-ltd.co.uk.
Crusader’s inventive designers styled the prototype Reverse Sensor model from an old BMW bumper. This was then made into a vacuum formed cast to enable replicas to be produced ready for in-store use. Like many Crusader display units, customer interactivity is key and similarly, the Reverse Sensor Kit itself, boasts a unique interactive feature of an audible ‘BLEEP’ that grows progressively faster as the customer approaches the display.
Steve Turner, Director of Crusader comments; “We are extremely pleased to be working alongside Halfords once again, and are certain that the unique Reverse Sensor unit will prove as popular and attention-grabbing as our previous interactive units.”
Work with Halfords started in early April and by the first week of May all development and prototype work was completed and an order for production was placed. The unit is proposed to be in use in Halfords stores from the 10th June.
